IPCOM ACQUIRES A MAJORITY STAKE IN IBSL GROUP Ltd.

IPCOM, the leading European specialist in the distribution and conversion of technical insulation, today announced the acquisition of a majority stake in IBSL Group Ltd (“IBSL”), a renowned convertor (fabricator) of technical insulation materials.

IBSL, based near Newcastle (UK), has been operating since 1989 as a provider of high-performance insulation products. The wider IBSL Group also consists of MW Insulation, based in Manchester (UK). The group employs 46 people.
They have extensive knowledge in the area of industrial and building insulation. Their specialty is the specification, manufacturing, and supply of several materials, such as Cellular Glass, Calcium Silicate, Phenolic, PIR and Mineral Wools. These products and services are utilized in various industries. Their in-house conversion capabilities, combined with the expertise of a technical design team, allow them to supply a comprehensive range of CE-marked insulation products with fast lead times.
